Isn’t it every cake maker’s dream to make a bespoke birthday cake for a Royal? Well this week Adam’s dream became a reality when we were approached to bake and decorate a realistic birthday cake for the one and only Duchess Camilla for her 75th birthday celebrations!
The two tired cake is decorated from the bottom up with realistic icing sculptures of her Jack Russel Terriers Bluebell & Beth playing with a pile of books and gardening equipment paying homage to some of The Dutchess’ favourite hobbies.
The cake is wrapped in gold and blue ribbons in colour co-ordination with the embellished 75 on the side of the cake and the tiny polkadot details!
Topped with a buttercream Royal Coat of arms which is by far the most detailed part of the cake.
A royal birthday cake comes comes with a lot of press and we’re thrilled to have been seen by so many people in papers such as Hello, Express, LBC & The Telegraph.
The cake was also shared by Clarence House’s Instagram with thousands of views and comments about the cake!
